When it comes to money, a lot of game companies are just shit with money. Either they have been on top for so long they have become spoiled princesses or they are too new to know what to spend the money on. You can make a game for free. There are plenty of free programs and the Unreal Engine only asks for 5% of profit after a certain point of profit. ... Maybe, I haven't looked them up in a while. But the point is a video game can be made with the only price being time and dedication. As for graphics, I see amazing artists every day online. I look at their gorgeous models and concept art and wonder why aren't they working for these big companies? Because the companies are too busy caring about SJW crap. Hiring people based on skin, religion, political stance, gender etc like its pokemon. Gotta catch em all.
I am extremely disappointed in Sony, the audacity to release a new console that you can’t play Joe’s Diner on is just appalling. The absence of Knack 3 was bad enough, but this pushed me over the edge, I’m switching to the KFC console.
Not enough people are talking about the tempest engine and the little chip doohickey Sony made to run it. It basically turns stereo 2D audio that you get with headphones into 3D surround sound, but still with headphones. Look up a video called "the tucker zone" if you don't know what I'm talking about, and then imagine that in videogames. It's amazing guys, seriously. It seems like only PS5 games officially support it, but I'm pretty sure turning the audio options to cinema/surround/home theater/ect. in the games settings let's the PS5 do the 3D audio thing with your headphones too, although I might be wrong. It seems to be working with Wolfenstein II though.
@ryan jenkins Nostalgia, some of my favourite games are on those consoles, I don't want to many machines under my tv, there are games I wanted but never had as a kid and I prefer to not buy physical copies, remasters of nostalgic games. On a pc I can run emulators + theres a larger collection with no limit considering the age of the game, a ps5 is in reality a type of pc, but the amount of games you can play on it are so limited, so for me without the old games it's just not worth it even in 2031 when I can afford one
Yeah, the launch titles for PS4 are pretty underwhelming, to the point where 90% of them can or could be playable on the PS4. At least the switch could let you play games on the go. Of course, this problem will not last forever, as more game will come out, and they will eventually take advantage of the stronger hardware and features.

I had a base ps4 from launch, getting a ps5 was mostly about my system actually functioning and loading, without every game running at 15 FPS. Those were the things I noticed most this generation, and they are massive upgrades even better than graphics IMO
@Barry B Benson lol, i think PS5 and Xbox SS/SX start games are more instable than the start games of the previous generations because the architecture of this new consoles are the same from PC
Davidkben it aimed for 30 but a lot of games play fairly consistently closer to 15 lol. Tbh, cyberpunk FPS wasn't the worst thing I experienced on it by far
I find it amusing that the PS5 will not run PS1 and PS2 games but my mate has been playing dozens of PS1/PS2 and PSP games on his Xbox Series X. The irony is not lost on me. haha Will I get a PS5? one day, yes but not for a year or so.
I mean yea but the ps5 will dominate the Xbox in the exclusive games I don't get why people have backwards compatibility as a selling point when your buying a new console you should want new games and not old ones
If the PS5 has all the backwards compatibility. Including, PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 games. The PS5 would be the most powerful gaming console in the world.
The only reason I wanted a ps4 was to play last of us. Since it was remastered on ps4 there was literally no reason to have one anymore. Why do gamers forget that its the games that matter?
