What a silly comparison. Some of the songs in Glee are in context of their storylines and also the characters. I doubt any song they did is "better" than the original but then again, some do stand up on their own. Ever notice that stage shows using established songs are a bit different than the original releases? Yeah, you do know this so why the comparison here?

See, I completely agree with you. I could never get into high school musical or glee etc because it was all too sugary sweet for me and really made me feel cringe to the point of feeling sick after a while. Never been an overly happy person but that sort of thing is so sugary sweet and "lovely" that it just made me feel so uncomfortable listening to it. 🤣
