I think you shouldn't go for the anti-air vehicles so much and instead go for tanks that poses a threat to your ground allies. That way, it helps the team more.

You can try on a cross-controlled maneuver by applying the rudder and ailerons in opposite directions to perform a side-slip which is commonly used on actual gliders since some of them do not have flaps at all. This allows your plane to gain induced drag like the flaps do, without extending any parts on the control surfaces and breaking the plane apart during high speed landing or landing without flaps. I usually alter the directions frequently to prevent banking too much, so that it won't go into a spiral dive and gain airspeed which we don't want for a landing. It works for me every time, on any plane. You can search for "flight 143" or "Gimli Glider" for a real life example.

It would be more balanced when the tu14 and il28 get their booster right after spawn, in Air RB. Other bombers are just way faster, it would be a good change.
