This is why higher or top tier tanks are boring. Radar, missiles, helicopters, thermal vision, etc make top tier unimpressive and ruin the game a bit. Too easy to sit far away and kill other players, yeah you can do this low to mid tier but it feels like you need more skill at lower br levels.
The thing that's sad, is I've seen people firing the various missiles of the Phantom long before they even have a good lock on a target, or at the extrememe end of their ranges, and wondering why they can't hit that slow ass little harrier that I'm in.
